Harrogate-based PR consultancy, Barker Brooks PR, has been appointed by the Association of International Accountants (AIA) to implement a public relations campaign aimed at raising its profile both in the UK and throughout the world.
Barker Brooks Media has worked with AIA for over two years and is responsible for advertising sales and publishing of its bi-monthly magazine, International Accountant. The company also helps the AIA to stage its prestigious Founder's Lecture and President's Awards.
Philip Turnbull, AIA Chief Executive, commented, "We have enjoyed a good working relationship with Barker Brooks Media and there is no doubt that they have helped us strengthen our organisation. In the first couple of months of working with Barker Brooks PR, the agency has achieved an impressive amount of coverage for us in the accountancy media. We are confident that they will help us in our aim of increasing awareness of the AIA both here and overseas."
Established in 1928, the AIA represents more than 17,000 accountants and students in over 85 countries worldwide. As well as acting as a recognised qualifying body for accountancy examinations, it is also the 'voice of its members' providing comment on current issues in accountancy and finance.
Barker Brooks PR is based in Cardale Park, Harrogate, and is part of the Barker Brooks Group, a rapidly-expanding, media-based company which employs over 50 staff.
