Barker Brooks was founded by CEO Lucy Barker in 1999. Working out of a barn in rural North Yorkshire, Lucy's drive and commercial acumen soon won her more work, which meant she needed more staff, who brought new skills with them, and so on.

Based in Harrogate, we work regionally, nationally and internationally. We give all our clients a bespoke service: off-the-peg solutions don't feature. Everyone's different, and that's something we respect. Once we truly understand your needs, we'll work with you to tailor the best strategy for meeting them.

The culture here is lively and entrepreneurial. We value energy and ideas, and all our people are encouraged to contribute to the development of the business. Some might prefer a more rigid corporate structure, but it's not how we operate.
